KI stands for Key Insight. The analysis is the product. KI Picks are the output.
KI exists to answer one question: is there anything worth betting on today?
We analyse every fixture across 30 competitions using a model built on historical data, current form, expected goals, and dozens of real-world factors. Most fixtures get filtered out. The few that survive every check become KI Picks.
A day with zero picks is not a failure — it's the system doing its job. The discipline is in the filtering.
What goes into the analysis
Team strength and form
Attacking and defensive quality calculated from season performance, recent results, and expected goals (xG). Teams are measured relative to the strength of the opponents they've faced.
Real-world context
Squad fatigue, player injuries, confirmed team selections, head-to-head history, referee tendencies, and whether teams are fighting for the title, battling relegation, or coasting to the finish.
Odds comparison
Every prediction is compared against bookmaker odds. We're looking for fixtures where our analysis and the market reinforce each other — not where we're trying to outsmart the bookmaker alone.
A KI Pick is our strongest conviction on a fixture. It means every part of our analysis points in the same direction — the data, the form, the odds, and the context all line up.
The criteria vary by market. What makes a strong Home Win signal is different from what makes a strong Over 2.5 Goals signal. The system applies the right checks for each situation, calibrated against tens of thousands of historical predictions.
Most fixtures fail. A typical day produces very few KI Picks, sometimes none. That selectivity is the point — we'd rather miss a winner than recommend a bad bet.
A fixture marked Confidentshowed strong signals in the analysis but didn't clear every check required for a KI Pick. The model has a clear lean, but something — the strength of the signal, the data quality, or the gap between the teams — fell short of full conviction.
Confident fixtures are not recommendations. They're worth watching if you follow the competition, but they haven't earned a KI Pick tag.
What about the rest?
Every fixture we analyse is shown on the Today's Fixtures page with the model's probability breakdown. These aren't recommendations — they're the analysis we ran, shown for transparency. Most fixtures don't receive any tag at all.
What We Cover
We analyse 30 competitions across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Oceania, including the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League.
The analysis runs automatically every morning. When confirmed team line-ups become available (usually about an hour before kick-off), the analysis updates to account for any late changes.
